Pacers’ All Star Tyrese Haliburton Meets WWE Hall of Famers Booker T & Queen Sharmell

It was an unexpected twist on December 26th when NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers found himself amidst a WWE-themed Rockets game in Houston. While these themed nights are often fun for the home team, this one proved a bit…awkward.

Haliburton, a standout player, and die-hard WWE fan, ended up on the opposing team during the Rockets’ wrestling extravaganza. His vocal love for the sport made the whole situation a touch ironic for the Rockets.

But before the game even started, things took a legendary turn. Haliburton met WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Queen Sharmell, adding a star-studded layer to the already unusual night.

Unfazed by the thematic conflict, Haliburton led the Pacers to a dominating 123-117 victory, making a clear statement that he wasn’t letting a little WWE theatrics hold him back.

This NBA-WWE crossover sparked major buzz among fans. The charismatic presence of Booker T and Queen Sharmell at the game, coupled with Haliburton’s vocal fandom, created a unique and exciting atmosphere.

And this wasn’t Haliburton’s first brush with the wrestling world. Back in October, he made his way to Fastlane in Indianapolis, his hometown. Not only did he snag a front-row seat for the event, but he boldly asked a question to Bayley during the post-show press conference.

According to reports, Haliburton even got the blessing of his coach, Rick Carlisle, to attend Fastlane six weeks prior. And as if the night couldn’t get any cooler, he was also spotted snapping a picture with wrestling legend John Cena.

Whether this is just the beginning of a beautiful NBA-WWE friendship, or Haliburton is simply living his best fan life, one thing’s for sure, he’s got the attention of wrestling fans worldwide. And who knows, maybe we’ll see him step into the ring someday.
