Brandi also gave him some advice in terms of investing, “Listen here is the thing, you are so young when I was your age I wasn’t thinking about real estate, and investing. So, coming from communities like how we grew up, a lot people don’t even know. Just learn how to invest your money properly, and put those building blocks together.”

She added, “A lot of athletes come into a lot money at a really young age, a lot of them don’t have the proper mentor, or guidance to properly teach them how to invest there money. So, I would love to be that person.”

Marshall has a background in public relations and communications.

Los Angeles Chargers drafted Mark Webb Jr in 2021 in the 7th round with the 241 pick out of the University of Georgia. During Chargers OTAs before the 2023 season, Webb along with Derwin James Jr, Michael Jacquet, Raheem Layne, JT Woods, and Alohi Gilman provided excellent competition in the secondary, according to former defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley.

[We have] good competition. We have competition at every spot in the secondary, especially safety. You have Derwin James [Jr.], who can play multiple spots. You have Alohi [Gilman] that has played a lot of ball around here. You have JT [Woods], we have a lot of expectations for him this year. It’s going to be a really competitive group. Mark Webb [Jr.] is in that mix, Michael Jacquet, and Raheem Layne. That group is very competitive. A lot of different skillsets in that group, which is what you need at safety.

Mark Webb Jr is currently a free agent after being released from the Chargers practice squad on November 14, 2023.
