DeAndre Jordan on Cooking Clean & PlayersTV Plans

DeAndre Jordan discussing his upcoming PlayersTV projects and Cooking Clean updates.

Despite not trying, DeAndre Jordan has always been one of the NBA’s most prominent personalities. It’s a natural occurrence for the jokes, energy, and oversized reactions. The part of Jordan that has been gaining prominence behind the scenes, the one that prioritizes cameras and kitchens over rebounds and rotations, is less obvious.

Jordan is not just a veteran big man, as he enters another season with the New Orleans Pelicans. PlayersTV is where he now serves as player-owner, giving him the creative space he never had earlier in his career. He’s not assuming it’s a vanity title. He’s already thinking of it as a second career in motion.

“Man, we’ve always got something going,” Jordan told PlayersTV recently. “I’m working on more shows during the season, and we just wrapped filming Season Two of Cooking Clean. I’m excited about Season Three and a few other projects we’ve got cooking.”

Jordan’s voice reflects a person who enjoys the process, not just the finished product. The excitement in his voice is evident when he speaks about Cooking Clean, his PlayersTV series that combines food, personality, and a little controlled chaos. The show isn’t just a side project for him; it’s where he experiments, tries things, burns things, and learns things. Season Two has been documented. Season Three is already occupying his mind. The partnership behind it all seems to be just as significant.

“We’ve been doing a lot of great things, and I love working with them — the relationship is amazing,” he said. “I’m also developing some of my own shows and producing new projects, which I’m super excited about.”

Jordan has reached a point in his basketball life where experimenting is seen as a responsibility rather than a distraction. Young players are looking for ways to build platforms. Jordan is developing an ecosystem. PlayersTV is where his work with ownership, creativity, and self-definition comes together, which is the trifecta that modern athletes talk about but rarely execute with this level of intentionality.

Jordan understands his role on the court: being a veteran presence, having steady hands, and being the loud voice in a young locker room full of stars who haven’t yet reached their potential. He’s planning seasons of content, not just basketball seasons, outside of the court. This is a fitting tribute to a player who has always made the game look enjoyable.

His focus now is on finding ways to convert that energy into something lasting — something that will endure beyond his minutes per game. PlayersTV is a priority for Jordan. It’s the blueprint. He’s open about how eager he is to continue building it this season.
