Victor Wembanyama Joins Barcode as Investor in Plant-Based Performance Water

The San Antonio Spurs have announced a new partnership with Barcode, a plant-based performance water provider, making them the team’s exclusive performance water provider. Barcode, well-known for its hydration for athletes, has also appointed Spurs star forward Victor Wembanyama as its brand mascot for 2023. Wembanyama is more than just a spokesperson; he’s also an investor and active brand partner.

Through this partnership, Barcode will be visible at every Spurs home game, with its branding featured on bench equipment, including bottles, coolers, and towels. Barcode is also the presenting partner for the Spurs Human Performance x Equity program and co-presenting partner for the Spurs Sports Academy Summer Camps. The collaboration will also be extended to digital and social media programming throughout the season. In addition to basketball, Barcode will be the official water of San Antonio FC.

Wembanyama has participated in researching and developing future Barcode products, and a new product release is imminent.
