Thunder Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Gets Immortalized as Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure

Funko Pop! will turn Thunder All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander into a Vinyl figure. According to koco.com, the collectible, which is 3.95 inches tall and depicts Gilgeous-Alexander in his blue alternate uniform, is now available for pre-order.

The Funko Pop! The announcement comes after Gilgeous-Alexander’s impressive 2023-24 season. He led the Thunder to the top seed in the Western Conference by averaging 30.1 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game. His outstanding performance earned him a Most Valuable Player finalist spot and an All-NBA First Team member.

“It’s a surreal feeling,” the Oklahoma City Thunder guard told Bleacher Report on the MVP race.

“You dream about it as a kid. I certainly have, wanting to be in the NBA my whole life. It’s something that I try not to put too much thought or emphasis on and let the chips fall where they may, but it’s something that I definitely want. If I achieve it and am blessed enough to get the award, I’ll be very happy.”

Bleacher Report’s Mo Dakhil has Gilgeous-Alexander as his MVP Favorite for the 2024-25 season, and according to Fan Duel, he is currently third in the early MVP candidates at +550. The Thunder made some improvement this offseason by trading for  Alex Caruso and adding Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency. Gilgeous-Alexander will still be the primary focus of the offense.
