Joe Burrow Buys Batmobile, Considers Batsuit for Vigilante Role

Joe Burrow is a top quarterback in the NFL, leading the Cincinnati Bengals with a combination of accuracy, poise, and powerful arm strength on a daily basis. At night, it appears that the 27-year-old is preparing for a completely different role: a crime-fighting vigilante in a bat costume. In the first episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks, Burrow revealed fascinating information to his Bengals teammate, wide receiver Tee Higgins. The quarterback made a casual mention of owning a limited edition Batmobile from The Dark Knight series by Christopher Nolan. This Batmobile is unique. Warner Brothers sold just 10 Tumbler models, and Burrow paid a cool $3 million for the one-of-a-kind vehicle.

“I don’t get it for like a year, but I bought it,” Burrow told Higgins, making fun of his teammates about his latest extravagant acquisition. The Batmobile, while an impressive addition to anyone’s collection, isn’t street legal, which means Burrow won’t be rolling it into Paycor Stadium anytime soon. At least, not in public view. The quarterback didn’t get deterred by this small detail. Burrow proceeded with his amusing thoughts about becoming Batman, suggesting that his next big purchase might be a Batsuit that matches those in the movies.

“I think I gotta go all in and go for the expensive batsuit,” Burrow joked, preparing the groundwork for a genuine Batman transformation. The quarterback arriving at the stadium in the Tumbler this season may not be visible to fans. Burrow’s recent remarks indicate that he could play the role of a crime-fighting hero off the field. While his night-time crime-fighting persona is still a fun thought, his day job shows no signs of slowing down. Burrow’s performance on the field is still as stellar as ever. Even though the Bengals have struggled this season, the star quarterback has been stellar, completing 67.7% of his passes, amassing a league-leading 3,337 yards, and throwing 30 touchdowns. Burrow’s football career is looking promising due to his impressive statistics, but there’s still a lot of uncertainty. Cincinnati fans may find the Tumbler and the Batsuit to be the icing on the cake of a superhero-worthy year. Cincinnati’s streets are currently safe, but Bengals fans should keep an eye out for nocturnal vigilantes next season, as they will have a pretty good idea who’s behind the mask. Joe Burrow appears content to dominate the football field for now, leaving the heroics to Batman. He won’t be able to go all in unless, of course, he’s ready.
