A Shared Commitment to Underrepresented Stories

The partnership brings together two brands that have cultivated their reputations through meaningful storytelling. Berry and her producing partner Holly Jeter, who co-lead HalleHolly, have been more focused on creating opportunities that put women and marginalized communities at the center of the narrative. By producing content that blends entertainment with cultural impact, Unanimous Media establishes its own lane. The company, founded by Curry and Erick Peyton, aims to inspire audiences by telling authentic, purpose-driven stories across different genres.

Curry and Peyton expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership in a joint statement, saying they are “excited” to partner with HalleHolly, calling it an opportunity to develop “new and exciting storytelling opportunities for both of our companies … bringing fresh, underrepresented narratives to the screen.”

Leadership Driving the Vision

A key figure in the partnership will be Sharla Sumpter-Bridgett, Unanimous Media’s chief content officer. She will work closely with Berry and Holly Jeter to shepherd new projects from development through production.
The strategic push to ensure the collaboration delivers impactful, culturally resonant content is signaled by Sumpter-Bridgett’s involvement. Both sides have experienced leadership, which positions the deal as not just a creative alliance but also a carefully structured expansion into the unscripted marketplace.

Why Unscripted—and Why Now?

Berry views stepping into unscripted space as a natural evolution. In her own words, the partnership felt fitting because it is “rare to find partnership with such like-minded people … Stepping into the unscripted space together feels like a natural extension of who we are.” Unscripted programming has become one of the most dynamic sectors in film and television, offering space for documentary storytelling, lifestyle series, competition formats, and character-driven narratives rooted in real-world experiences.

Through their joint entry into this realm, HalleHolly and Unanimous Media aim to create content that is both commercially compelling and culturally significant.

A Strategic Alignment of Values and Vision

The deal is a reflection of a wider industry shift to intentional partnerships which focus on representation and inclusion. Berry and Curry have both used their platforms to advocate for wider access and opportunities in entertainment and beyond.
Their companies’ alliance is not only about expanding their production slates — it’s also about strengthening a common mission: to amplify stories that have traditionally not been given center stage.
As the collaboration moves forward, audiences can expect a slate of unscripted projects which reflect this collective ethos. Stories led by women, formed by broad perspectives, and created to resonate across film and television platforms.
