Lululemon is thrilled to have professional tennis star Frances Tiafoe as its newest ambassador. The three-time ATP champion, currently ranked 17th in the ATP singles rankings, is adding another player to Lululemon’s growing roster: Leylah Fernandez. Tiafoe’s partnership with the brand will be made official at the prestigious Australian Open this week.
“Lululemon is changing the game for apparel by combining high performance and high style,” said Tiafoe. “I’m excited to work with a brand that allows me to express myself and look forward to being a part of the creative process both on and off the court.”
Tiafoe‘s role as an Ambassador involves working closely with Lululemon to inform, test, and give feedback on innovative performance products and designs. His bold and vibrant personal style is reflected in his fashion choices, which often include bright colors and daring patterns. These choices perfectly align with Lululemon’s commitment to fusing high-performance apparel with elevated aesthetics. Nikki Neuburger, the Chief Brand and Product Activation Officer at Lululemon, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership.
“We’re so excited to welcome Frances Tiafoe to the lululemon family. Our Ambassadors play an important role in our brand ecosystem. They not only inspire and influence guests around the world, but they also directly inform and elevate our performance products through their unique insights and expertise. We look forward to growing our presence in tennis through our partnership with Frances and by continuing to deliver best-in-class apparel.”
In his first appearance at the Australian Open, Tiafoe will wear a custom lululemon Metal Vent Tech Tee and Pace Breaker Short in Passionate Pink, along with a custom Sojourn Windbreaker Jacket that honors his roots in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
