Football fans have much to look forward to besides great food and drinks. Applebee’s is allowing superfans to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on February 9, 2025, through Applebee’s Super Bowl Sweepstakes. From September 3, 2024, to January 5, 2025, new and current Applebee’s members can enter the sweepstakes by making purchases of $10 or more in-person or online. The excitement comes from weekly prizes that are also up for grabs.
Applebee’s is elevating its relationship with the NFL with a new advertising campaign that features some of the league’s top players. The list includes Head Coach Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions, Saquon Barkley, who runs for the Philadelphia Eagles, and Brock Purdy, a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. The campaign, which begins airing today, highlights these NFL icons as they join ‘Team Applebee’s,’ showcasing their skills both on and off the field.
Pre-SEASONING: An Applebee’s Training Camp is a 6-part weekly mini-series launched by Applebee as part of its NFL-themed offerings. Starting on September 5, Applebee’s social channels will stream a documentary-style series that follows Purdy, Barkley, and Coach Campbell as they overcome the challenges of becoming a part of Applebee’s dining dynasty. A behind-the-scenes look into the highs and lows of these NFL stars as they learn what it takes to serve up the Good in the Neighborhood is provided by Grey New York.

Applebee’s has introduced a new line-up of $10 cocktails in NFL-themed buckets to keep the celebration alive all season. Fans can choose the Captain’s Kickoff Bucket, a Bahama Mama that uses Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, or the M.V. Tea Bucket.
Applebee’s most valuable long island iced tea, made with Smirnoff Vodka, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, triple sec, and premium lemon sour, is served with Pepsi. In addition, Applebee’s is offering a $5 strawberry-infused Sangria, which includes Barefoot Moscato, strawberry, pineapple juice, and Starry lemon-lime soda, along with Smirnoff Vodka, and is served in their famous Mucho glass.
