Chicago Sky Rookie Angel Reese Launches “Reese’s Pieces” Apparel Collection with The Hershey Company

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is taking her brand to the next level by launching her ‘Reese’s Pieces apparel collection after signing an endorsement deal with The Hershey Company. According to Nick DePaula of Boardroom on Wednesday, Reese’s burgeoning career, both on and off the court, has reached a significant milestone with this partnership.

The ‘Reese’s Pieces collection, now available on Reese’s official website, features a range of apparel, including shirts, sweatshirts, and hats emblazoned with the phrase ‘Reese’s Angel.’ This slogan captures the unique blend of Reese’s name and the iconic candy brand, making her more marketable in sports and entertainment.

DePaula stated that the collection is set to grow, with a future merchandise release adding a jersey to the lineup. As Reese continues establishing herself as a powerhouse in basketball and branding, this move proves her growing influence.

Since starting her basketball career at LSU, almost two dozen companies have signed endorsement deals with Reese, making her one of the most sought-after athletes in sports marketing. Her connection with The Hershey Company began when she referred to her fans as ‘Reese’s pieces’ on social media X. This playful interaction captivated the candy brand, resulting in a public exchange and partnership.

“The fans really made this happen,” said Angel Reese in a press release. “This collection is for my Reese’s Pieces – who’ve been with me every step of the way and the design elements bring together things that I love -basketball, style, and of course, Reese’s!”

Reese connected to her brand when she wore custom Reese’ s-themed sneakers created by artist Marvin Baroota to warm up. Thanks to the official collaboration between the WNBA star and the candy giant, Reese can now build on her impressive endorsement portfolio.

Prior to her contract with Hershey, Reese’s most notable sponsorship was with Reebok when she started in the WNBA as the No. 7th pick in the 2024 draft. The news was all over the place this month when Reese was the first rookie from the draft class to announce a product launch in partnership with an athletic brand with the Reebok by Angel collection. The collaboration with Reebok demonstrates Reese’s appeal to major brands and her potential to influence the sportswear industry.

Reese’s branding ventures don’t stop there. The Chicago Sky announced a partnership with Mattel for a Barbie theme night on August 30, a reference to Reese’s nickname. This event highlights Reese’s marketability and the diverse opportunities during her rookie season.

Angel Reese’s collaboration with The Hershey Company and the subsequent launch of the ‘Reese’s Pieces’ apparel collection are just the latest chapters in what promises to be an extraordinary career. She persists in breaking barriers and setting new standards not only in the WNBA but also in the broader world of sports and entertainment. Reese is becoming a well-known name both on and off the court.
