Breitling and NBA Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo Unveil Limited-Edition Chronomat Collection
Luxury watch brand Breitling has partnered with NBA sensation Giannis Antetokounmpo to launch a special edition collection of Chronomat timepieces. The collaboration celebrates Antetokounmpo’s unique style and journey, with two standout models that reflect his dynamic personality and team spirit.
The Chronomat Giannis Antetokounmpo collection features a 40-mm steel Chronomat GMT and a 42-mm gold Chronomat B01 chronograph, both showcasing unique design elements that pay tribute to Antetokounmpo’s career and personal style. The watches boast “GA” initials, a basketball emblem, and shades of green reminiscent of the Milwaukee Bucks. The GMT model features Antetokounmpo’s signature on the caseback, while the chronograph showcases the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement.
To commemorate the collaboration, Breitling created a one-of-a-kind “One of One” Chronomat B01 for Antetokounmpo, featuring a green dial, white chronograph counters, and golden numerals. This exclusive timepiece honors Antetokounmpo’s remarkable journey from his humble beginnings in Greece to becoming an NBA icon.
The collection also introduces new colorways, including a verdant green shade, and Breitling’s first Rouleaux-inspired rubber strap, offering water resistance and wearability. Titanium models have also been added, providing a lighter feel without compromising robustness. The limited-edition timepieces come with special packaging and a personal note from Antetokounmpo.
Breitling CEO Georges Kern praised the collaboration, stating, “Giannis has an incredible personal style and sense of self that we knew we had to capture in a timepiece… He brought his aesthetic and indomitable spirit to the project, making him not only an ambassador but also a collaborator.”
The Chronomat Giannis Antetokounmpo collection is limited to 1,750 GMT and 250 chronographs, making these timepieces a rare and coveted tribute to Antetokounmpo’s achievements and personal style.
