Earlier this year, three-time WNBA Champion Alysha Clark joined PlayersTV as an athlete investor and will soon be premiering her show, “Off-Seasoning With Alysha Clark.”
The Aces’ defensive specialist discussed her forthcoming show with Chris Henderson of Seehendo.com and expressed her excitement about having it showcased to the world.
“I’m super excited for the Off-Seasoning, one because I’m the first female athlete to have that cooking show on the platform. That in itself is huge for players like me, [who] are not your household names, [who] aren’t superstars.[Players that have] just been consistent, and here, so I hope it opens the doors for other players coming along,” Clark said.
“I’m super excited, 99 percent of our league, our college graduates. We go to school for four years, we come in, so we’ve already had that next life planned. So to be able to kind of just see that lived out through my cooking show. I was a broadcast journalism major with a minor in Psychology. Just being able to connect with people and using that expertise to be able to see, and build combine my love of food and sports. It’s awesome and I’m looking forward to the people seeing it. I think it will bring smiles and good things to people’s homes.”
Clark also told PlayersTV that she is trying to find ways to get involved with the Vegas community.
“Just find ways to get involved in the Vegas’ community. I have been closely talking to one of the dog food places there that does a lot of stuff with the animal shelter. Then I am an avid reader and finding ways to implement change in the curriculum in Nevada, and Vegas area.”
According to the foundation’s Instagram bio, Clark is working with The Animal Foundation, which is the largest animal shelter in Nevada.
In March, The Animal Foundation posted a photo of Alysha Clark holding her dog, while promoting the 21st Annual Best in Show: “Alysha Clark, star forward of the @lvaces, has yet another accolade for her highlight reel: Best in Show Judge.
With her Chihuahua, Sly, attached to her at the hip, Alysha knows a thing or two about adorable dogs. After helping the Aces claim their second consecutive championship while winning the @wnba’s Sixth Player of the Year Award, it’s safe to say she loves this city, too.
Get your tickets to the show, and learn more about the dogs, judges, and the amazing auction items available at the 21st Annual Best in Show on April 7th at Thomas & Mack at the link in our bio.”
Clark focuses on positively impacting the Las Vegas community, which she currently calls home, even though she is also engaged in culinary pursuits. Her dedication to local initiatives encompassed supporting animal shelters through partnerships with local businesses and advocating for educational reforms to enrich the lives of children in Nevada.
Alysha Clark’s upcoming show is guaranteed to entertain and inspire audiences with her passion, talent, and commitment to making a difference, as she excels both on and off the court.
