Alex Caruso has had an unforgettable summer, not just because of basketball. The veteran guard celebrated his wedding less than two months after helping the Oklahoma City Thunder win their first NBA championship in franchise history.
On Saturday, Aug. 9, Caruso married former Big Brother contestant Haleigh Broucher, capping off a whirlwind year of personal and professional triumphs. In August 2024, the couple, who were engaged, married in a ceremony that Caruso’s Thunder teammates attended.
The teammate’s celebration took place with Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, Isaiah Hartenstein, Jaylin Williams, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace, and Branden Carlson making the trip. The bond between the group, forged throughout a grueling NBA season, was evident as they posed for photos together at the wedding. Championship camaraderie now joined by wedding-day joy.
The night’s playful spirit was captured in a group shot, with players holding up their ring fingers, symbolizing both Caruso’s new wedding band and their upcoming championship rings.
The Thunder’s official title hardware will be received in October. 21, when they open the 2025–26 season at home against the Houston Rockets and former franchise star Kevin Durant. Caruso will be able to reflect on a year that has given him two rings that are both distinct, but equally significant at the same time.
